I know what you’re thinking.
“But Cheryl, didn’t you already do a retrospective on 2020. You couldn’t decide on your favorites so you highlighted all the books you reviewed published in 2020. Right?”
But in the past year, I’ve been writing (somewhat) regularly and I’ve had a lot of fun. So in my final post of 2020, I wanted to express my joy by highlighting the posts that I had the most fun writing!
- Carry On and Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell – the conversation that Mr. Librarian and I had while walking about this book never fails to make me laugh! I loved writing this and I LOVE LOVE LOVE these books.
2. In A Holidaze by Christina Lauren – I am so thrilled that I got to share my first Christmas book experience with you! This book which I’ve also read SO many times was a delight to share with you all. And thank you for putting up with my Christmas/Hanukkah rant.
3. Majesty by Katharine McGee – this roller coaster of a story has ALL the tropes. I didn’t expect to like it and loved that I was able to read it and share it with you!
4. Ode to… The Hunger Games – I’m so thankful that I exerted my right to change my mission statement, because the new Hunger Games novel, A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes stirred all kinds of emotions that I just had to share.
That’s it. All my favorite writings from 2020. Can’t wait to see what 2021 brings!
