It’s that time of year. The time when I start revising my “books I’m excited for” list. At the beginning of the year, I usually put books that come out within the first few months. But that means I ignore or am ignorant of all the amazing books coming out in the second half of the year. Maybe I’m losing my touch because while I have so many books to read, there are only seven that I have now that I am looking forward to. I’m going to tell you about them anyways!
So without further ado, my list of the books I’m most excited for from June – December 2021!

Any Way the Wind Blows by Rainbow Rowell
The conclusion to the Simon Snow trilogy. Will Simon and Baz make it work? Will they be able to save Watford? Will Simon ever get a cherry scone again? Hopefully all these questions will be answered. This is, by far, my most anticipated book of 2021!

Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco
The second and possible conclusion (although, I seriously hope not) to this dark fantasy. The cliffhanger at the end of Kingdom of the Wicked makes this a must read for me!

The Matzah Ball by Jean Meltzer
A Jewish romance author who loves and writes all about Christmas. This I’ve got to read!

The Devil and the Heiress by Harper St. George
The second in the Gilded Age Heiresses series follows August’s sister, Violet as she runs away to pursue her dream of becoming a writer. Pursuing her is Christian, Earl of Leigh, who is more intrigued by her than he should be. If this is half as good as the first one, it will be amazing!

The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels by India Holton
Three words: Badass. Lady. Pirates. You heard right! Cannot wait for this one – luckily for me, I’ve already had a chance to read it and my review of it is forthcoming! Like, next week! (Be sure to check back for this one!)

A Lot Like Adios by Alexis Daria
After reading and reviewing You Had Me at Hola, there isn’t much I wouldn’t do to get my hands on Alexis Daria’s next steamy romance novel!

The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling
Billed as Hocus Pocus but more adult. Um, yes please! A young witch casts a spell on her ex and when he returns to town everything goes haywire. I have seen a number of witch books on the market coming up in later 2021 and I am all for it!
What are you excited for? Leave me the book you’re most excited to read or one I should add to my list in the comments!
